Resume Summary:
I currently work as a human rights investigator, leveraging open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools, such as social media mapping, to collect, verify, and preserve evidence of crimes against humanity committed against Uyghur and other minority groups in China. For use in future judicial accountability processes and to inform state programs.
- Conducted research and analysis on development and policy issues, focusing on practical, solution-driven policy recommendations. As a research fellow, I examined the use of judicial waivers in Florida and advocated against the transfer of minors to adult courts. This work earned me the Albert D. Ernest Jr. Caring Award for my commitment to justice and community impact.
- Lead grassroots campaigns and created advocacy strategies in diverse human rights issue areas, Including the Make torture a crime campaign, which led to the release of a torture victim in Nigeria and as an organizer for Everytown for Gun Safety.
- Provided legal support at international human rights organizations and legal tech firms. Experience includes drafting and editing over 200 legal documents and templates across contract, business, and criminal law: supporting high-level stakeholder engagements with notetaking and conducting legal research on complex human rights issues. Demonstrated strong skills in legal drafting, research, stakeholder communication, and training coordination, with experience supporting senior legal professionals and contributing to international legal advocacy and capacity-building efforts.
- Contributed to global thought leadership as a speaker at international forums, with publications and my podcast, Unlocked. Conducted geopolitical analysis on peace negotiations, foreign policy, human rights and diplomacy and produced quality written and oral outputs.
